    Roger Clemens report

    www.rogerclemensreport.com

Just read part of the report made by Clemens' lawyer. Pretty interesting statistics regarding Clemens performance compared to other hall of fame caliber pitchers over the age of 40.

Lawyer: Pettitte can confirm Clemens’ HGH use

This is from the AP via MSNBC.com

    http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22903086/

Basically it says that Pettitte will corroborate what trainer Brian McNamee said to the Mitchell report about Clemens and HGH.

Looks like Clemens is knee deep in it now.

Now it's just going to get ugly. Rocket should have just admitted it.

As Starship sang back in the 80's :
" knee deep in the hoop-la"

    Re: Roger Clemens report

The big flaw in this argument is that both Ryan and R. Johnson started off throwing 100 MPH, while Clemens started throwing 95 MPH. So as they reached 40 years old, their velocity dropped to 95 or around where Clemens was at age 25. Clemens' velocity should have dropped to around 90 MPH, but stayed at close to 95 when he was 40.
I doubt that there is any other pitcher who started out at 95 MPH who still threw that hard at age 40.

To me it is not #'s as much as endurance.
As above poster said, if he kas kept an edge physically then I dont care about hearing numbers.
If you have the very very intelligent kid in school who has a 98 GPA while the other very very smart kid has a 95 GPA.
Over the course of time , the one drops to a 96 while the smart kid with a "little help" ( some form of cheating)keeps his 95.

Yes the #'s still compare but the "little help" over time added to this sustaining performance issue.
I believe all signs as of now point toward Roger having "a little help".

Doesn't look good for Roger right now. I believe I saw that Petite is going to testify against him or something along those lines. When I saw it, it was around 6 AM so I was still half a sleep but it was something about Roger and HGH. If I can find that article I'll post it later.

You can manipulate numbers to fit any situation if that's what you're looking to do and you're willing to shrink your sample size accordingly.
