I'll buy this the first day it comes out. I love the MLB series so far and I'm sure I'll love it even more on the Next Gen system. Does anyone know if they're adding anything to career mode or franchise mode? I'd really like to have a Rule 5 draft on franchise mode.

I have a PS3 and a Wii. If you've never played a Wii before, you'd understand why it's so easy to sacrifice graphics for playability. Playing baseball on a Wii is extraordinarily fun. I'll probably buy this game for the Wii and do the EA version on the PS3.

Will it be available on Wii?

Just on PSP, PS2 and PS3. Sony platforms only.

This game is only on Playstation 3 and PS2. EA doesn't make a baseball game anymore.

I've got a MLB Power Pros for the Wii and I love it. The graphics are very cartoony but don't it fool you. The depth of the game is amazing and the gameplay is very solid.

    My goodness.

There's a screen at the 1up link that has Ryan Howard hitting a homer while the catcher turns to the ump and holds his hand out for another ball. Fantastic stuff. I never imagined we'd ever see that kind of intricate detail in a video game.

I don't know how the gameplay will turn out, but Sony outdid themselves with the visuals. They're light years ahead of MLK2K8.

I'm still mad there's no baseball game for PC anymore and this game is for PS only. Maybe this coupled with the new Gran Turismo will tempt me to buy my first console ever.

That sounds like a dream game.
