Sorry to derail the conversation, but if you want realism try OOTP 9. Though the best they could do for animation is move the ball from the plate to point B in the ballpark.

I hadn't seen him until tonight.

Downloaded the roster and he was there.

When you're playing this game on PS3 does it ever randomly cut to the main PS3 guide? I was just playing Career mode and finally made it to the show as a starter then it went to the main menu out of no where.

I've had that happen a couple times while playing RTTS.

I make sure I save often, even with the autosave on.

    Not sure what causes it.

Danny Ray Herrera was on the last roster update. He is not on the major league roster, though. He also was not given a screwball by Sony. Simply create a franchise, update the most recent update, go to the regular season, and Herrera will be under AAA relievers.

On PSP, when I play in career mode, the bases at GABP are super tiny. They're fine everywhere else, but at home, I get these tiny pegs. Looks silly.

FWIW, Herrera is on the updated roster now. You simply have to look under AAA relievers when you start your franchise. I suppose you still need to wait for Roenicke, though.

You have to connect to the internet through the game; it'll ask you if you want to download updated rosters.

I checked early this morning, but Thompson was not on today's roster. It took several days after Monday for me to get Bruce, so I will be patient. Let me know if he shows up for anyone else, though.

Do you have a wireless router for your PC? If yes, plug it right into the USB/controller charger port.

Thompson did show up on today's roster when I checked at 4:30. Amazingly enough, Sony has improved Homer Bailey's potential from a B to an A, even with his bad MLB numbers this year. With Bailey's overall B compared to Thompson's overall C and potential of B, you could make a legitimate case to have Bailey as the no.5 starter(at least in the video game).
