Maybe it's just me, but it seems like we've had a very wet spring/summer so far. I'm having to mow the lawn every 2-3 days because of all the rain!

Not me.
After the last 2 summers of drought plus everything getting blasted by super-heated wind last fall, all of my trees, plants, bushes really need long cool drinks of water and some good growing and recovery time. They really got stressed over the last couple years.
Having said that, I can't seem to get my tomatoes to turn red and my basil wants some hot weather and I've had to take the puppy out in too much rain, but I'll gladly exchange that for some mother nature R+R time.

Loving the rain we've been having here in Charlotte. I have a green yard for the first time in three years.
I live in the DC area and I'm sick of it. Usually by now my lawn is starting to get that nice brown tint to it and my lawn mower is idle most of the time. As for me it can stop anytime.

Funny, we've hardly gotten any rain in the Columbus area... We are begging for rain up this up... its dry a bone....

On one hand, I'm like some of you in that I like what the rain is doing to my lawn and landscaping. The weeds are easier to deal with when you have a good stand of grass.
On the other hand, it would be nice to try to do something outside and not look up and see rain and thunder approaching twice a day.
According to weather.com, starting Sunday, Cincinnati will get seven straight days without rain.
Help stamp out, eliminate, and do away with redundancy.
I don't like it, but I don't want to wish it gone for fear of another drought, so I kinda don't know how to feel.
I'd like at least some dry days though, so I don't have to carry my umbrella every day (and so I can get to mow my grass. I really can't cut it while it's raining or very wet as my lawn mower is electric and kind of small.)
HECK no. Farmers and home-owners don't buy equipment during droughts, it's a fact. We want that grass to keep growing!
I don't mind rain, I just hate having to walk around in a suit while it's raining. Dry cleaning is expensive.

After losing 4 spuce trees to drought the past couple years, no.
When all is said and done more is said than done.
I am, or at least the days that it does rain and affect. As of today, I should have had 4 baseball games (amateur league). First game, other team forfeited (and kicked out of league). Last three...all rained out. Hoping Sunday will be better.
Rain?
You just get a lot in a short time, try getting the same amount over 9 months, then we can discuss being "sick" of rain.
Right now it's pretty nice here... and that's an anomaly, it usually rains until July 4th and then takes 3 month break, but we'll take it.
After 2007 & 2008, I will never wish away rain again. Ever.
