I am defending league champion in a dynasty league. I have to cut my roster down to 16 players by Sunday, however. Players that file for free agency are automatically cut, which only cost me two players this year. Thus closeness to free agency is a factor in who I keep this year. I have to start the traditional positions as well as a Util, extra MI, and extra CI. Therefore middle infielders in particular are valued more than they would be even under normal circumstances since I have to start three. Based on my roster, here is where I am leaning so far:

Definite Keeps
(1) Ryan Howard
(2) Prince Fielder
(3) B.J. Upton
(4) Dan Uggla
(5) Troy Tulowitski
(6) Miguel Cabrera
(7) Carl Crawford
(8) Matt Holliday
(9) Alex Rios

(10) Jake Peavy
(11) John Lackey
(12) Cole Hamels

(13) JJ Putz

Definite Cuts
Bronson Arroyo
Scott Baker
Jeremy Accardo

Need to keep 3 of
Aaron Hill
Bobby Abreu (Production is dropping but still 5 category producer)
Corey Hart
Matt Kemp
Gary Sheffield (Great production, but last year of his contract)
Tim Lincecum
Jeremy Bonderman (Injuries derailing his career?)
Homer Bailey
Dustin McGowan (Was his second half last year for real?)

Also, I see BJ Upton potentially losing value next year if he doesn't retain eligibility at 2B by playing some there this year. Anyone think I should look to cash in on him some time this year since I will be stocked in the OF for a few years to come?
