The final move we have been waiting for!!
2001 and 2002 he was good....
Something tells me 2008 won't be like 2001 or 2002.
Low risk move though, which is never a bad thing.
warm body. No downside here.
BR has no record of him being in the majors or minors since '04. Anyone have an idea as to what he has being doing during that time? Independent? Japan? Mexico? Beer-league softball?
Just what we need, another right who doesn't miss bats and doesn't have great control. Gary Majewski better watch his back. Lincoln could take his spot in Louisville.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.
Elbow surgery to end his 2004 campaign and hasn't been in the majors since: http://stlouis.cardinals.mlb.com/new...l&ymd=20050604

The Reds have signed former Cardinals (and Pirates) pitcher Mike Lincoln to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. This will probably be as productive as Kerry Ligtenberg, but without the facial hair stylings."

Pain heals. Chicks dig scars. Glory... lasts forever.
Yet Kevin Mench remains unsigned.
Hugs, smiling, and interactive Twitter accounts, don't mean winning baseball. Until this community understands that we are cursed to relive the madness.
I'm surprised nobody mentioned the Minnesota connection.
