Brady was informed last night by the LSU AD that he was fired. But he will coach against UT Saturday and then Butch Pierre will take over.

The collapse LSU has gone through the past two seasons has been colossal. That said, I'm still surprised.
There was no way he was going to survive this year. I'm still surprised they did it now.
Hopefully Joe Dean will be on the search committee.
When all is said and done more is said than done.
Another piece on the UC side is that LSU got a commitment from a top center in the country, that was also very intrested in UC. Maybe he'll backout of his commitment and come here.
-LTlabnerIf you can't build a winning team with that core a fire-sale isn't the solution. Selling the franchise, moving them to Nashville and converting GABP into a used car lot is.
J'Mison Morgan I believe is who you are talking about.
I've been hearing Tim Floyd as the big name replacement, as well as Anthony Grant. If either of those two are hired, id say LSU will keep their recruits intact, and Floyd would probably keep the talent in that area in-state unlike Brady.(hint-hint Greg Monroe)
Dave Odom has already announced he is retiring after this season, and Mark Gottfried and Dennis Felton are on the hot seat as well. Could be interesting to see what happens in the SEC after the NCAA tournament.
Tim Floyd would be an amazing hire for them if they could get him.
Bob Knight says hello!!!
When I see the 2016 Reds, I see a 100 loss team and no direction.
Would P-Diddy's son follow Floyd to LSU?
Remember the name Travis Ford for these SEC openings, I'd imagine he will be a top candidate at LSU and South Carolina (and potentially Alabama and Georgia, as WVRed mentioned).
I don't think Ford will be a top candidate for LSU. He may be in the running, but I think if Tim Floyd shows interest, the job will be his.
1.He is from the area.
2.He coached in the NBA
3.The cost of living in Louisiana is lower than California. Three million would go a long ways in the Bayou.
One thing is for sure though, if Anthony Grant and Travis Ford do coach in the SEC next year, you will have four coaches in the SEC with ties to Rick Pitino in some way, shape, fashion, or form.
I made the comment back when they hired Gillispie that if he got the program turned around and the NBA came after him, that I could see Travis Ford or John Pelphrey being the next Kentucky coach. They just need to get coaching experience at a greater level, and I think they will get it.
