Good movie. I didn't buy the implications of how the shooting came about, but hey, the movie was based on a novel. I could have happened that way.
Casey Affleck's performance was frighteningly realistic. At first, I didn't think I was going to be able to watch the movie, because his gestures, the way he carried himself, the way he talked, all reminded me so much of some of the troubled kids I've been trying to teach this week.

Assassination is a difficult work to abbreviate.
All models are wrong. Some of them are useful.

I thought it was a great movie. Affleck was perfect for that role, IMHO. I think this movie makes 3:10 to Yuma the 2nd best western of the year.

I just finished watching it this morning. Overall I liked it. I'd give it 2 1/2 stars I guess. It's worth watching. I just felt it was too long and too slow. The movie kinda dragged. I did think Affleck did give a very good performance though.
