I got the ole "Thanks for playing but you are not a winner" notice.

It appears there were not very many winners and so far I have yet to hear of one winner.

    No win here either.

0 for 2. If I don't score tickets this will be the fourth time in the last 20 years I've missed out.

I found my rejection e-mail in the junk folder just now. Has anybody won in this thing?

The great Opening Day lottery is over. To get indiviual Opening Day tickets this season you had to register online. The Reds notified via email those who got the tickets and those who didn't Wednesday.

The Reds aren't going to announce how many people registered online for the Opening Day tickets.

There will be one more chance to get Opening Day tickets. The Reds will announce plans to sell Power Packs in the next week or so. The Power Packs, which were 11-game packages last year, include Opening Day.
My guess is the tickets allocated for the registration was a very small group. They've probably packaged a great number of Opening Day tickets in with the Power Packages they plan on launching next week. Opening Day is the big seller here, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with using that game as a means of trying to sell as many total regular season tickets as possible.

Frankly, IMO, it's a pretty good move if that's what they're doing.

Hell if it were up to me, I'd set it up so that fans would have to pony up for at least a 20-game partial season ticket package to land Opening Day seats ... unless they wanted to deal with ebay, brokers, and scalpers, of course.

Though I have a partial season ticket plan so I'll have a seat through that anyway.
I had the same plan - but was rejected as well...

Judging the results so far, looks like it wouldn't have made much of a difference.
