    Re: NL only dynasty league

I picked up Jason Bay in the fourth round. He'll bounce back from a terrible last season.
If you can't build a winning team with that core a fire-sale isn't the solution. Selling the franchise, moving them to Nashville and converting GABP into a used car lot is.

Bay in the 4th round is like in the 2nd round in a mixed league. Even if he bounces back, 100RBI/Runs are unlikely because of the very poor offense. He might hit 30 HR and his career AVG is .280. He stole 21 bases in 2005, but then 11 then 4, so you might expect 8 next year at most. I don't see him as a 4th rounder even with a rebound.

does anyone have a link to the draft board? Never done an all NL league, would like to see how the draft plays out.

I just picked up Takashi Saito with the 9th pick of the 5th round. Pleased about this pick, wanted McCann, but he didn't last, so I had to settle for my second guy (whose still pretty good)

I just took Dan Uggla. I don't know why either.

    Re: NL only dynasty league

I am happy about my picks so far:

    1. Johan Santana
    2. Alfonso Soriano
    3. Chipper Jones
    4. Garrett Atkins
    5. Brad Hawpe
    6. John Smoltz

Maybe it is just the normal "high" we all get after the draft. Then later reality smacks us in the mouth.

Right now I am happy. Later? Who knows.

    What do you think?

Maybe a little, but it is an NL-only keeper league.
