Yeah, that movie was incredible for great quotes.

Major Payne's rendition of "The Little Engine That Could" is one of the funniest cinematic moments ever.

I wanted to like Buckaroo Banzai, but I just couldn't. Way, way too slow for me.

Volunteers had some brilliant gags, though. I really liked early-period Tom Hanks, back before he became an "AC-TOR!"

John Carpenter's They Live! starring Roddy Piper, aleins, some great one liners, and the most amazing fight scene in film history.

I just watched a low budget direct to DVD horror film called "Whisper" starring Josh Holloway from Lost, and I was impressed at just how good of a movie it was. I don't know if anyone anywhere will ever watch this movie, but as far as horror films go, this was better than any I've seen at the theater in a long time. I'm not sorry I added it to my collection.

Food Of The Gods with Marjoe Gortner.

Hadn't seen it in years, but watched it again the other day. Why I have no idea.

I ought to put a shameless plug in for a movie my youngest brother co-wrote - filmed here in Cincinnati. It went directly to DVD following a couple of film festival entries - definitely B movie material - http://www.threebarbecues.com/main.html

Did you know that Jeff Healey, blind guitarist and musical star of Roadhouse, passed away yesterday due to cancer?
