For the record, you just get bumped. If a team doesn't make a pick in time, the team behind them may choose. It happened in the first round in 2003 when the Vikings were passed up by the Jaguars and Panthers.What's the penalty for not making your pick in the allotted time in the NFL draft? Do they move you to the end of the round? That would be the most realistic option to mimic the real life Lions.
