1 good year, injured most of the time after. Never really developed much.

Would have liked to keep him, but $33 million is a lot of money to invest into an injury risk.

Thanks guys. It's not my $, so as long as the guy can actually defend a pass occasionally...he'll be a cult hero for Viking's fans

Some people say that Williams main problem was trying to get the big hit instead of just making the play. He always seemed good in coverage though.

Take him. As a matter of fact, take the rest of the defense too.
If you can't build a winning team with that core a fire-sale isn't the solution. Selling the franchise, moving them to Nashville and converting GABP into a used car lot is.

He likes to dance after he makes a play. There was a game last season when they were down to the Cards by two scores and he broke up a pass and came up dancing.

He is a good talent who showed signs of a complete game but never put it together. He has trouble covering a TE over the middle as well. I didn't like to see him go but for the Vikings are crazy for the contract they gave him.

    Well, don't hold your breath.

It's absolutely hysterical that a player as average as he is now one of the highest paid safeties in the league.
