    3/1 Reds v. Pirates

    Starting Lineup

    Freel cf
    Castro ss
    Griffey rf
    Phillips 2b
    Dunn lf
    Encarnacion 3b
    A. Phillips 1b
    Valentin c
    Hanigan dh

    Pitching

    Harang
    Maloney
    Burton
    Coffey
    Brower
    Majewski
    Roenicke

I like the CF - SS combo. Castro sure knows how to hit.

Griffey with 2 Run HR to left center, and Dunn with a bomb to right center.

Why couldn't Gonzo wait until Castro was released to get hurt? Unreal, Dusty will find a way to play Juan over Kepp at SS. If they are going to keep an all field/no hit SS, it should be Janish.

I think that this is gonna be Majewski's rebound game after what we saw last wednesday.

i agree with you nasty boy i'd much rather see janish out there than manos de oros. Atleast Janish is improving and young unlike the ancient castro.

Is it bad to be rooting against some kind of injury to Castro? Not a major one, but enough to keep him out of ST. I can see Castro batting 2nd on opening day if he does well.

Hanigan seems good enough to be a backup catcher. I'd rather take him over Valentine.

Score is now 5-2 through 2. Sloppy defense by the Pirates

5-4 Reds. Maloney is struggling a little bit. I hope he has a good ST since he's good enough to be a decent MLB starter.

Geez.......I'm starting to hate Dusty already with these lineups.

If I don't see Bruce in the starting OF come opening day, I am going to be extremely upset.

Again Bruce in RF. Why doesn't he play CF? I don't get it

(Actually I do, Bruce isn't a leadoff hitter so he can't be in CF. CF=Leadoff)

Roenicke is pitching and has struck out the first 2 batters this inning and gets a fly out to end it.
