Majewski coming in with the bases loaded. This is going to end well.
Homer done.
1-2 count. Great time to snap off a curve or a changeup, nah we'll go with another fastball.
59 pitches in 2 plus innings....that's a bunch
Homer looked better against the Red Sox structurally. Disappointing night for him for sure. He really blew a golden chance considering his stuff was vibrant tonight.
To be fair, if you're so gassed that you can't throw the fastball for a strike you have to wonder if there's any chance of the curve or a change for a strike.
Homer had some encouraging moments tonight but overall he's still having command issues that are going to prevent him from being a success until he overcomes them.
School's out. What did you expect?
I was impressed with the secondary stuff his command still very inconsistent. Give him about three months in Louisville and if his commands has improved to where it needs to be, call him up.
D'Artagnan's sinker does not sink ... it moves horizontally
I'm not defending Homer's outing, but I've seen this Yankee lineup do the same thing to pitchers more seasoned than Homer. I still think he should start in AAA.

I like Janish. If he could just hit about .260 he would give you a .340 OBP and great defense.
