First month of the season (including Mar 31 opening day)

    TWO off Days?!?!? WOW.

One being April 1st - the day after opening day; then April 14th.

We play 15 games in a row from April 15 - April 30.

So much for not needing a 5th starter much.

    17 games against the Division - 6 vs Milwaukee, 3 @ Cubs, 3 @ Stl, 3 @ Pit, and 2 vs Houston.

open with 7 at home - 3 vs Arizona, 4 vs Philly, then later sprinkle in 2 vs the Dodgers, and 3 @ SF.

Tough match-ups for the most part. We will see how we can match up early with our Division Foes.

    PEACE

I think that in a year or two, one of these guys - Frazier, Dorn, Valaika, Cumberland, Stubbs - will be ready to replace Dunn. They won't hit as many home runs as Dunn, but they should have similar OPS. - 757690, July 22, 2008

Alonso will be playing 1B for the REDS and batting 4th one year from today. - Kingspoint, July 9, 2009

I truely believe you can lose or win a division in April.

Oh yeah. The games count as much in April as any other time. A strong start can only help.
    WHEN DOES IT STOP!?!?

I believe the quote/saying is "you can't win the Division in April, but you can sure LOSE it!"
