it shows that this team can get it done in tight ball games so far. They can play the small ball and win without having to hit the dingers. Bullpen was good today Mercker did give up a homerun but alot of pitchers are going to give up homers to Howard.

It also shows they need to keep Kepp in lineup in 2 hole even when Agon is cleared to play. He is a big part of that small ball when they have to play it.

Small ball was what we lacked for the last several years. Get them over and get them in is the name of the game. I like what I see so far.

Get them on, get them over, get them in.

Is something we've always needed to do. We had a team before that could hit home runs but couldn't play small ball. Now they can play small ball which will help us win games as been evident by the last two wins.

At least 35 different ones, probably...and about 10 will give up more than one.

I'll take a win anyday but today's game winning run was just goofy...why didnt Rollins at least attempt to throw home??

Gosh, aren't you guys still so upset that Corey Patterson is starting in center and leading off. I'm not going to let two little homers in the first week fool me. Man, Dusty really is stupid! (Note - heavy sarcasm)

wouldn't have happened last year without co-co! very strange seeing 1-2-3 9th innings the last couple games. Gotta love that!

Keppinger is a huge part of being able to do that imo, hitting in the 2 hole! he rarely strikes out, and has great bat control. I really hope he sticks in the lineup.

I'm very excited right now. I really feel like we'll be a 500 ball club this year and I love the thought of that

    Winning is good.

Winning with good pitching and clutch hitting is even better.
