Three consecutive wins the Reds have been on the front of MLB.com at one time or another. Cueto's win was on all major media networks, the walk off win was on MLB.com and the win today is now on front of MLB.com.
Why is this happening all of the sudden, is it Dusty Baker? The Super Mario (Soto) Bros? Griffey?
I don't know what it is, but I like it! Great to see some national media, as it is easier to find highlights on-line.

Yes I noticed Reds highlight's much earlier on sportscenter.We could be on to something special this year.
I think it's mainly Baker and his ties with Baseball Tonight.

I agree that it's Baker. He draws the attention of the media. Guys like Harang and Phillips might get a little respect from the national press this year.
Also, many of the pundits were picking Cueto as ROY. Plus, they like debating the Volquez-Hamilton trade.
You can also contrast it with Detroit's move to their young arms a few years back..............this is a bold move by the Reds and the media has taken notice. Plus, the Reds had one of the top farm systems. Factor in a name manager, and increased expectations, it all adds up to more Sportscenter time.
Name manager. Young good arms. Junior's chase for 600. Maybe Votto, too.
I don't care about the national media. I'll just take the wins.
Keith Olbermann, who now does "real" news, released his MLB predictions for this year. He said the Reds would be a good bet to win the Central with the odds now, but thinks the Brewers will win the Central.
But here is the big part, he showed a picture of Cueto and Volquez, told people to remember them, and said the Reds had the best young pitching in the majors, even better than the Yankees, and he's a Yankee fan. Nice.

I was watching highlights of Cueto's outing last night, and one of the guys said "That's number 3 for Johnny C." I think Johnny C is a good name for him. Whenever he gets a K at GAB, everyone should go "SEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE". I mainly want to do this because the "ooo" sound is so overdone.
C. Trent calls him Johnny K which is even more appropriate. He also calls Volquez "Voltron, Defender of the Universe" which is also apt.
But I like Voldermort as well.
