Juan Castro should always have a green light with a 3-0 count.
A couple of us are in chat, by the way.

Ump has small strike zone.
The Reds absolutely need to score both these runs. Anytime you get an on-base event from Juan Castro, you must capitalize and score.
Beyond grabbing these two early runs, the Reds hitters should hope to run Hamels' pitch count up and get him out of the game early. Philadelphia's bullpen stinks, and any offense can tee off their relievers. The problem today may just be getting to that bullpen.

RBI ground out. 3-1
BPhil grounds out, Freel scores 3-1
Castro held at 2nd since the play was ahead of him.
0-2...
Did Castro advance to 3rd?
oops, nm. Thanks RBA.
Pop out for Dunn.
Good to see that the ump is giving Hamels strikes he won't give Arroyo...
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.
Kepp singles. safe at home 3-2 (throw cut off)
Keppinger is just ridiculous!!!!
