Todd Frazier come into tonight with a .588 OBP - so far tonight he's 1-for-1 with a double and two walks. His OBP has now jumped up to .650 through 20 plate appearances. Wow.

Did I see this right, is Bruce playing left.
Adam Rosales is 2-for-3 with two singles and a sac fly. Justin Lehr has retired the first 21 batters he has faced.
Jeffords "looks" like he throws really hard. Also, looks like he has no clue where it is going .
Wow.. this is an active night!
Jeffords is off to a great start. He just threw a 1-2-3 inning with two strikeouts. His line so far this season: 3 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 7 K
He had serious control issues last season (27 walks in 23.2 innings) but struckout 33 batters. He's got a power arm that's for certain.
Once again, the perfect game ends on a HR. Didn't that happen to someone else last week??

Valaika 4-4 with a 2 run bomb.
Chris Valaika just belted a 2-run homerun, his second of the season. He's 4-for-4 tonight.
Jeffords just gave up a 2 out opp. field single. Hit fairly hard but off the end of the bat. And the guy was behind the ball. Doesn't really have a secondary pitch.
I have a feeling Wood,Thompson,Frazier will be the Reds top 3 prospects at seasons end. After that it is a far dropoff with the rest of the best in rookie ball.
Who is this Curtis Partch that started for Dayton? Says he was a 26th round pick last year, and in one start and 16 relief appearances last year had a 2.88 ERA in GCL/Billings. About a 1:1 K/BB ratio last year though. Had a good game tonight for Dayton, 5 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 4 K, 1 BB

I've tried to stir up interest in this guy for a while. Lehr is going to push to become a member of the Reds' staff. Take a look at the starts he put up this winter in the Mexican League; the last 8 or 10 were very consistently impressive. He was good this spring too whenever he got a chance. Tonight 71/3 perfect. 8 innings, 1 hit, O BB, 5 K's.
