Is BJ off to a good start or what.. what if he finally comes out of nowhere and somethings clicked?
I like Stubbs start to the season so far! Good Omen i hope.

If EE has an average year/sub par year and Rosales continues to hit in AAA it's going to be interesting to see if the Reds end up with rookies in RF AND 3B by next season.
Is the kid from UC, Logan Parker, still in the system? Haven't seen his name in the box scores yet this year...
"In our sundown perambulations of late, through the outer parts of Brooklyn, we have observed several parties of youngsters playing 'base', a certain game of ball. Let us go forth awhile, and get better air in our lungs. Let us leave our close rooms, the game of ball is glorious"
I liked the acquisition of Lehr, too. I believe he's got a reputation as a groundballer -- is that right? I'm also pleased they've got Pettyjohn at AAA. Either of these guys could emerge as a viable 5th starter this year -- nice to have in the system.I've tried to stir up interest in this guy for a while. Lehr is going to push to become a member of the Reds' staff.

Couple of things, First for DD, the Dragons home opener has been on TV in the Dayton area every season I believe, and I assume going forward (or as long as the Dragon's attendance stays high) I wish I would have remembered that, could have watched a bit of it last night. I think they had about 10 live games last year or there abouts, then mixed in a bunch of replay games throughout the season. I'll have to check that schedule out.
When to the GCL reds start up? I'm interested to see how Merasco (I know I spelled that wrong, but close enough) starts out this season. He really struggled at the plate last year. IIRC he had some thumb issues, plus the obvious adjustment coming off of high school baseball. I assume he's realitively healthy, so I'll be interested to see what kind of stat lines he could put up. With the catcher spot so thin both in the organization and across baseball, it would be nice to see DM become a top level prospect by season's end and pushing into the top half of the annual top 100 lists
when BJ hits the ball this season, he's hitting .700. That won't last. Last year, he hit .375 when he didn't K.
Eric Davis's best major league year was .408 on balls in play, and Eric also got on base in other ways.
Bruce's bat woke up...good to see!
Nice outing by Lehr!
