Boulder, CO high school kids start their own "fight club"

While I can't blame the parents and cops for being concerned, I worry that we may be stifling the entrepreneurial spirit of our country's next Don King:

I most enjoyed the comments at local yokels at the bottom.
". . . acquiring J. Blanton from Oakland for, apparently, Bailey/Cueto, Votto and a lesser prospect. I do it in a second . . . The Reds' equation this year is simple: Make Matt Belisle your #3 starter . . . trade for Blanton, win 85 or more, be in the mix all summer." - Paul Daugherty, Feb. 8, 2008

Me and my buddies used to do this 10 years ago after the movie made its mark. We were drunk and stupid to say the Least.

Anyway, these kids are bringing nothing new to the table... :P

    Amateurs.

Kids in the Denver area have done worse things to vent their frustrations...
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

I think this is much worse than starting South Park.
