Wow! No MNF or Sunday night games for the Bengals this year... maybe that is for the best.
The only thing I don't like about that schedule is they put the Bengals Steelers game on the NFL Network which most of us don't get.
14 1:00 games, looks like the '90s are back.
At least Chad won't have a national platform to act like a fool, if he is still here.
Hugs, smiling, and interactive Twitter accounts, don't mean winning baseball. Until this community understands that we are cursed to relive the madness.
Well, lets see....
Wins
1 Sept. 7 at Baltimore Ravens 1 p.m.
2 Sept. 14 Tennessee Titans 1 p.m.
4 Sept. 28 Cleveland Browns 1 p.m.
6 Oct. 12 at New York Jets
10 Nov. 9 at Houston Texans 1 p.m.
13 Nov. 30 Baltimore Ravens 1 p.m.
15 Dec. 14 Washington Redskins 1 p.m.
17 Dec. 28 Kansas City Chiefs 1 p.m.
Losses
3 Sept. 21 at New York Giants 1 p.m.
5 Oct. 5 at Dallas Cowboys 4:15 p.m.
12 Nov. 20 (Thurs.) at Pittsburgh Steelers 8:15 p.m.
14 Dec. 7 at Indianapolis Colts 1 p.m.
16 Dec. 21 at Cleveland Browns 1 p.m.
Swing Games
7 Oct. 19 Pittsburgh Steelers 1 p.m.
9 Nov. 2 Jacksonville Jaguars 1 p.m.
11 Nov. 16 Philadelphia Eagles 1 p.m.
So there are 8 wins, 5 losses, and 3 that could go either way.
Championships for MY teams in my lifetime:
Cincinnati Reds - 75, 76, 90
Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13, 15
University of Kentucky - 78, 96, 98, 12
Chicago Bulls - 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98
“Everything that happens before Death is what counts.”
― Ray Bradbury, Something Wicked This Way Comes
I could see seven of those "wins" turning into losses.
I believe they showed a game on the NFL network last year that was also aired on NBC because I remember watching that game. I can't remember who it was against but it sounds like they're going to do that again this year but don't know which network is going to carry it yet.
That schedule could get brutal real fast if the guys don't have their act together early.
"I tried to play golf, but I found out I wasn't very good." -Joey Votto on his offseason hobby search
An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”
They did that with the Patriots-Giants game last year because that had huge natural interest with the Patriots going for the undefeated season. They won't do that for most games. The game will be simulcast in Cincinnat and Pittsburgh but for everyone else we will have to find a friend with a satellite or a sportsbar to watch that game.
