Good old fashioned pitchers dual in San Diego

The Padres/Rockies are scoreless in the top of the 14th inning in San Diego. Jake Peavy threw eight shutout innings with 11 K's and his ERA stands at a stellar 1.20 after four starts, but unfortunately for him Jeff Francis threw seven shutout innings and neither team has yet to cross the plate through 13 innings. What a game. Pitching in Petco Park must be a pitchers dream.

Finally, a run. Colorado loaded the bases with one out but Garrett Atkins popped out to SS for the second out. Next batter is Brad Hawpe...he falls behind 1-2 and it looks like the Padres may escape the jam but he worked it to 3-2 and drew a walk. 1-0 Rockies. Next batters pops out.

1-0 heading to the bottom of the 14th. I'd like to see the Padres tie this game up; I'm in the mood for more baseball and I'm not ready to go to bed yet.

And Colorado just scored the first run of the game on a bases loaded walk. What a kick to the crotch if your a Padres fan at that game, sit there for 14 innings to probably lose on a bases loaded walk 1-0.

Bard singles in a run. 1-1 and the bases are loaded with one out.

The Padres strand the bases loaded. McAnulty grounded into a force out, runner out at home for the second out. Colt Morton ran the count 3-1 against Manny Corpas but grounded out to end the inning.

1-1 after 14. This is a game I'd love to be at.

I personally thought it should've been ball four when the count was 3-1. I've been following this game for awhile I've got to be in class at 9 am couple more innings of this is about all I can take.

Yeah, getting thrown out at third with no outs like that was crazy. A ew of the ball/strike calls have been prretty inconsistant too.
I've been to dinner at Jimmy Buffet's house, and I've eaten it at a homeless shelter. And there's great joy and harrowing terror to be found in both places.

He needs three more at bats like that to match Castro's productivity for the entire season.
