Guy in my league is looking to unload Pence for a shortstop.I start Keppenger at short,and have Betencourt the SS from Seattle on bench as a hedge in case Gonzalez comes back as Reds shortstop.Do you guys think Kepp will be the shortstop for the rest of the season?I know a knee injury can be pretty bad so Gonzo may not be back.Thoughts?
I think Keppinger plays regardless. If you can pry Pence loose, who cares what scenario works out which way?
I'm sticking with Keppinger for as long as possible, flipping him back and forth between SS and 3B.
But I also have Pence sitting on my bench until he gets untracked. He's in one serious slump.
