It's Patriot Day. They have an 11 am game and the Boston Marathon later on.

How good do Boston sports fans have it right now? Red Sox are playing well, Bruins have a game 7 tonight, and the Celts are gonna cruise through the East.

    That SuperBowl was beautiful, though

We always have it good. Even pre 04 we always had next year, some places are several years away in every sport(they have) for many years in a row.

Actually, the Boston Marathon started at 9:45 for the elite women and 10:00 for the elite men. Patriot's Day is as big as Opening Day for us in Cincy. So if you have a matinee game, you have a day-long celebration that goes hand in hand with the marathon.

For no other reason, other than pride, I would just like to say that my wife just completed the Boston Marathon... weather was good, she said it was a very special atmosphere, and is one of the most amazing sporting events she has ever witnessed. Congrats to all that completed and or competed today.
