In an April when none of the Reds' touted bullpen prospects has been lights out (and some have been poor -- Fisher, Watson, Viola), Dayton's lefthander Jeremy Horst has put up great numbers. In his last 11.1 innings he's given up 2 hits, walked 1 and struck out 17. Opponents are hitting .128 on the season against him. Last year out of the Billings pen he K'd 51 in 39 innings and opponents hit .234 (pretty good for the Pioneer League). Right now he looks like the best arm out of the 07 draft behind Lotzkar.
His last couple outings they've stretched him to 3 innings -- I wonder if they're trying to move him into the rotation.
