BCast: "Dang that Wayne. Always taking on that blasted BlueBerry thingy. I hate those things. Why can't he be a real baseball man like Walt. Hell, Walt even tucks his shirt in. He's not pretending he is young. I hate those hippies. And what's Wayne doing wearing sneakers. Doesn't he know we run a professional ship here? Walt's a loafer man. I like that Walt.

Now, just gotta figure out why the front office keeps asking for more of those blasted 'computers'. Wish they'd just use a graph paper like normal people".

I just noticed the big thick retro day-planner in Bob's shirt pocket.

Someone might want to clue Bob in about that kookie "outlook" invention.

That stuff is for middle managers. I'm actually surprised he has a planner at all.

In addition, both wear black - almost as if reapers, while the dead man where white and black, as if fading away into an after thought. The dead man also pears off into the distance, as if at an afterlife or otherworld, contemplating everything but his own existence.
Finally, there is the empty ball field in the background, void of activity, as if to say 'Game Over,' complete with an empty scoreboard."

Walt: "Soon...this will all be mine"
It's absolutely pathetic that people can't have an opinion from actually watching games and supplementing that with stats. If you voice an opinion that doesn't fit into a black/white box you will get completely misrepresented and basically called a tobacco chewing traditionalist...

    Re: Caption this

I've revisited this image after the Krivsky canning dust has settled and I think it's obvious that Bob C has a huge man crush....

One man is fawning. One man is posing, clearly thinking about his legacy and confident history is his friend. One man sees the writing on the wall but has tried to convince himself that destiny is not fixed but constantly wonders if a malleable destiny can trump legacy or if legacy will be the hammer to his destiny.
"This isn’t stats vs scouts - this is stats and scouts working together, building an organization that blends the best of both worlds. This is the blueprint for how a baseball organization should be run. And, whether the baseball men of the 20th century like it or not, this is where baseball is going."---Dave Cameron, U.S.S. Mariner
