It looks like an album cover; nobody is making eye contact with the camera...

"One of the most startling things about the Three Old Men's album is its cover, which shows two of the men almost completely ignoring the middle man, as if he is not there - stark symbolism in itself. It is almost as if he is dead to them.
In addition, both wear black - almost as if reapers, while the dead man where white and black, as if fading away into an after thought. The dead man also pears off into the distance, as if at an afterlife or otherworld, contemplating everything but his own existence.
Finally, there is the empty ball field in the background, void of activity, as if to say 'Game Over,' complete with an empty scoreboard."

I've revisited this image after the Krivsky canning dust has settled and I think it's obvious that Bob C has a huge man crush....

One man is fawning. One man is posing, clearly thinking about his legacy and confident history is his friend. One man sees the writing on the wall but has tried to convince himself that destiny is not fixed but constantly wonders if a malleable destiny can trump legacy or if legacy will be the hammer to his destiny.
