Today's lineup (April 27th). What is Dusty doing?

    Reds v. Giants

    Jerry Hairston RF
    Corey Patterson CF
    Jeff Keppinger SS
    Brandon Phillips 2B
    Edwin Encarnacion 3B
    Joey Votto 1B
    Ryan Freel LF
    Paul Bako C
    Edison Volquez P

    v. LHP Barry Zito

Seriously. At least give Volquez a shot at winning the game. This is ridiculous. Volquez will have to throw a shutout to even get a chance at a win. He's got no room for error today.

Wowza....well, Edinson SHOULD mow these guys down. We have a speedy outfield, guess that's kinda cool. Hopefully Phillips and EE can continue their hot hitting to carry the offense.

Everyone has been slamming Dunn and Junior: they get their wish, both sit today.

KGJ is due for a day off. Why Dunn is getting a day off though doesn't make much sense. Why Dusty is not moving Votto and EdE up (when they're the hottest hitters right now) makes zero sense, though.

...yet Jay Bruce remains in AAA.

Yes, I will continue to say it until he's not.

Nah. It's the final audition for the 3 outfielders. You see, Bruce is going to take ALL of their jobs and play CF, RF, and LF. Dusty is just giving them these guys their curtain call.

In 21 games, he has 5 walks and 19 strikeouts. He NEEDS to be in AAA.

I think if the Reds are going to win a series sometime this season, they should at least have to earn it.......
