    Big series

Anyone else anxious about the series with the Cardinals? I am. It's early but I believe it is very big. Need a winning streak and they are at the top of the division. Arroyo...can he come around tonight? Will the offense continue on against solid picthers not named Zito? So I am not going to say anything bad about Dusty Baker right now (yeah it's killing me). No more negatives. Only positive. Go Reds!! Stick it to the Cards and give us long suffering Reds Fans some hope for better things to come. Who's with me?

Right Here, Right Now. I hate having to look at naysayers all day and explain how this team will come around. I think we are a 10 Game streak away from being the team that we all hoped they would be. If we are only 1 or 2 back by the end of May, I think we are going to the playoffs.

These next two series are pretty big for me personally (Atlanta more than St. Louis) A lot of people at my school are Braves fans so I love it when the Reds make them eat their words. Last year the Reds went 7-1 against the Braves so I had the bragging rights last year.

It is big, almost as big as an early-season series can be. Need at least 2.

Now that I've unjinxed the REDS, I can say emphatically that the REDS will be .500 on their 40th game,....(20-20).

It looks good on paper. My fingers are crossed.

By the way, our first game 1 of a series win this year.

My fingers are crossed too.....all eight of them and both my thumbs too, LOL I think we have a great shot at a sweep with Cueto and Harang going in the next two games and I'm glad the offense seems to be awake now. PLEASE put it all together for these next two games too guys!

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

I think we seriously need to think about sending Encarnacion down to Louisville. He is simply embarrasing himself out there.

Jeez he is terrible. I wonder if we could get anything for him at this point. He's past his prime and he'll never make it in the big leagues. :
