Sounds like the next backup to Carson Palmer...

Shouldn't this be in the Bengals forum? I mean, why wait?

Wonder who LSU's starting QB is going to be next season?

I'm sure they will find someone. He didn't play in the spring game so they have an idea. One thing to remember is that Matt Flynn was LSU's starting QB most of last year.

Maybe he'll transfer to Michigan? Rich Rodriguez is probably interested.

I think he'd have to sit out a year. His best bet would be to go to a FCS (1-AA) school so he could play immediately.

How's Northern Iowa looking at the QB spot, Chip?

Lost one of the best QBs in school history to graduation. The heir apparent's supposed to be pretty good but untested. I'm guessing if Perrilloux goes that route, he'll stay in the general vicinity of Louisiana. Grambling, maybe. Southern, possibly.

Honestly, Michigan probably would be a good fit, but I don't know if he could get into Michigan and I'm not sure how a guy who got kicked out of an SEC school would be received in a place like Ann Arbor. I don't think Coach Rod would do it either as one of the concerns some Michigan faithful had when he was hired was what kind of people he's bring into the program. Getting a guy with questionable character would only work to legitimize those concerns.

Nitpicking... but Perrilloux wasn't "kicked out of school," just off the team.

But yeah, UM or any other "big time" program isn't going to want anything to do with the guy. He's got "shady" written all over him.

But smoke a little grass (Mario Manningham)... that's OK.

Ryan P would certainly solve Rodriguez's lack of a QB for 2009.

As for 2008, that's another matter entirely...

Yeah, I lived in Ann Arbor for two years, and smoking a little grass is more than welcome there.

That works in Morgantown too, problem is they forgot to tell the kids leaving that it isn't looked too kindly upon outside.
