Considering the Rox outgoing second baseman (Jayson Nix) was hitting something like .111, Castro might actually be an improvement.
". . . acquiring J. Blanton from Oakland for, apparently, Bailey/Cueto, Votto and a lesser prospect. I do it in a second . . . The Reds' equation this year is simple: Make Matt Belisle your #3 starter . . . trade for Blanton, win 85 or more, be in the mix all summer." - Paul Daugherty, Feb. 8, 2008

Manos de Oro rises from the ashes like the Phoenix once again.

I'm pretty sure you could shoot that guy with a silver bullet, jam a wooden stake through his heart, and cut off his head and he would still survive to find an MLB job somewhere.

Some people have nightmares about vampires, wolfmen, and zombies. Me ... I have nightmares about evil judy hitting shortstops with hands of gold.

Do we get anything back (they take his contract or we get a PTBNL) or is this just a dump?
