Oh wow. Apparently the solution is dropping Dunn in the lineup and putting Keppinger in a position to hit in to even more double plays...
Dusty seems really obsessed with avoiding back to back lefties.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.
If Dusty is that obssessed with not having back to back lefties, here is what he should explore...

On the brightside, it's nice to see Votto higher in the order.
at this point i just don't know what to say. dusty is trying anything at this point to jump start the offense. i like the idea of moving votto up. didn't griffey bat 2nd a coulpe of times last season? maybe it was a bad dream or something. as bad as things are i would run this batting order out.

yes i'm batting the pitcher 8th.:
there's nothing like bowling a 300 game! 13 now and retired.
Ricky henderson has a higher OBP than C. patterson and he's retired. C. Trent 6-14-2008
Reds vs. Reyes last year from Trent:
The Reds face JoJo Reyes, a lefty. Last year they faced Reyes twice. The first time, they had 8 hits and 4 runs in a 6-5 Reds victory and then sent him to an early shower with 4 hits and 5 runs in 2.2 innings of an 8-7 Reds victory.
Its a start at least....
Quotes from Fay
Jeff Keppinger was standing behind me as I was copying it down. "I like it," he said. "I like it."
Griffey volunteered to hit second coming out spring training.
"I don't know if he was serious or not," Dusty Baker said.
Said Griffey: "I'm just trying to move up to the leadoff spot."
The Reds face another left-hander tomorrow -- Tom Glavine -- so you could see the same lineup, although left-handers are hitting .500 over Glavine this year and right-handers are hitting .241.
I think Dusty is just drawing things from out of a hat.
On the bright side, I'm sure someone would pay a lot of money for the hat on ebay if Dusty would sign it.
