Conor Oberst - s/t
This is very good. It's a lot like I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning, which is Bright Eyes' best album, in my opinion.
The Transplants - Haunted Cities
This CD will ruin any indie and punk cred you may have accrued, but it's, surprisingly, a very good CD.
Girl Talk - Feed the Animals
If you're into sampling, this will blow your mind. It is, by far, the best CD of its kind.
Alkaline Trio - Agony and Irony
I grew out of them a while ago, but I thought I'd give their new CD a shot. As expected, it's more of a mainstream sound than their earlier stuff, but it's good stuff, nonetheless.
Black Kids - Partie Traumatic
This is kind of like The Cure meets MGMNT. It took a while to grow on me, but now that it has, it's possibly stuck in my playlist forever.
The Modern Lovers - s/t
What a classic. I'd say it's one of the best albums of all-time. I'll never get sick of it.
The Verve - Forth
I knew The Verve were talented, but I never thought they were this talented. This CD blows my mind. If you're into catchy pop hooks, this probably isn't something you would appreciate it, but if you're into The Stone Roses, this could be what you've been looking for the past several years.
Ra Ra Riot - The Rhumb Line
This is a very good disc for fans of Vampire Weekend, which is a band I really enjoy.
Sigur Rós - Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust
This is their best CD in a long time. I started to lose interest in them, but they've won me back and some.
Destroyer - Trouble in Dreams
What can I say? It's another great CD from a great artist. I'd recommend their entire catalogue, but I don't know whom to recommend it to. It's for lo-fi fans but not in a Guided by Voices or Apples in Stereo kind of way.
Beck - Modern Guilt
When Beck said that this CD would sound more like his oldest stuff, I thought, "Yeah, right." We were both right, though. It's way too polished for his Stereopathetic Soulmanure days, but it's certainly reminiscent of Odelay and almost just as good.
That's an unimpeachable decision.

Haven't listened to this album yet, but he certainly has a unique sound. Almost a baroque lo-fi, with all those odd orchestral flourishes.
Currently listening to Love As Laughter - Trademark of Quality (far superior to their new album). Saw them last night at Berbati's, about two yards from Isaac Brock.
