The song "Little Lion Man" by Mumford & Sons is one of the best songs I've heard in a long time...go check it out, NSFW lyrics. It's glorious.

"The Return of..." from the album Diamond Hoo Haa by Supergrass popped up on my ipod today. I don't know why my memory always selectively leaves out certain Supergrass albums or the band altogether. They were so solid and consistently good. Every time I hear them my whole day looks up.

Pavement on the Colbert Report. Man, Malkmus looked uncomfortable in the interview. Give him a real chair, at least.

Their whole album is good. "White Blank Page" is my favorite.

I ran across that video a few months ago, before I'd even heard of the band, and it blew me away. Like Johnny Footstool said, the whole album is amazing. I saw them play at the 9:30 Club in DC; what a fantastic show.

If you dig the classic rock inspired indie rock, then I would recommend the entire album is for you...

As others have said, the whole album is great. One of my favorite bands at the moment.

I'm going to the Muse and Metric show tonight. Should be a blast! It isn't often that I am as excited about an opening act as I am about Metric.

I've been hooked on The Black Keys lately, especially their new album 'Brothers'. Also been listening to Jamey Johnson's 'Guitar Song' album and recently discovered Grace Potter and The Nocturnals. Amazing group...
