I just saw an amazing show at the Northside Tavern last night. It started with Wonky Tonk, one of the best bands in the city. After that was Those Darlins, who have a huge buzz going about them. And then it was The King Khan & BBQ Show, who really put on a great show. I won't give details, though, because it's something that needs to be experienced first hand.

Tennessee Line by Daughtry. I forgot how much I like Vince Gill's voice.

I can't get enough of The Avett Brothers' new album. I'm also listening to a lot of Devendra Banhart (great songwriter), Extra Golden (if you like a combination of African and American music, this is great stuff), Drummer (playing at the SGH in January--I've got some good stories about them), La Roux (one of the best pop albums of the year), The Reatards (one of the most underrated bands of my generation imo), The Swell Season (have you seen the movie Once? it's the band from that movie), and Wolfmother (they've been playing with The Heartless Bastards, who I toured with, and their new album is excellent).

*BC*, I'm going to be watching my friends play a show at the Southgate House tonight. I'll also be playing there on Monday.
