    Ode to TBRB and HVIW

The Big Red Buffoon and his Vulture in Waiting
observed, prophetically, the losing to abate!
That petulant pronouncement, without bill of lading,
shipped with carrion smell pervading its crate.

Yep. Every veteran player other than Jr is here because Wayne either brought him in or extended him. Wayne truly did "blow it up and make it his".

If I can remember to do this, I'd like to take a poll at the end of the season and see if Wayne still has a 75% approval rating from the board, and if people view Wayne's roster as "going in the right direction". I can see people still being optimistic after 20 games, but each passing week makes it more apparent that Wayne left a big mess in his wake.

Sure, eventually the hitting will get better, but this team is a mess.
Thank you Walt and Bob for going for it in 2010-2014!

This why I predicted the club would win 74 games.

I'm not sure they'll reach that lofty goal at this point.

It's just too unreal to have a foot-in-the-mouth scapegoat
at hand when the team struggles.

Big Bob, The Big Red Buffoon, who sits in the chair where the buck stops, justified his knee-jerk reaction, by saying
    he did it

    TO STOP THE LOSING,

as if it were some kind guarantee of results.

He has the right to hire/fire on what ever whim he chooses. He OWES Red's fans the truth IF he chooses
    to justify his action.

I can stand the losing, not happily, but diehards have
    no other choice.

He may be a green goods genius, but BC's handling of the entire Jocketty matter, shows him to be a baseball buffoon
and the latter a self-serving Vulture in waiting.
(Was it not his job as consultant to tell BC his action was
precipitous? No conflict of interest there???)

And this I cannot choke down in silence like many here, and will not soon forget.
