    Any Drive-In Theaters around anymore?

I can remember basically living at the drive-in on the weekends with my parents as a young kid growing up. My fiancee told me this past weekend that she's never been to a drive-in movie, and that made me sad. I was wondering if there were any still around, and if so, what ones are the best.

I remember going to one in Dayton on Dixie Drive several years back that wasn't too bad, but I'm not sure if it's still there or not.
My dad got to enjoy 3 Reds World Championships by the time he was my age. So far, I've only gotten to enjoy one. Step it up Redlegs!

They were going to turn the Pontiac Silverdome parking lot into a giant drive-in. Not sure if it ever matiarized, but that wouldn't help you, now would it?

There's still one on SR 125 near Bethel. Star-lite drive in. Dual features of current movies. Something like $5 a head last time I went out. Word is they also have a pretty cheap car load night. Concessions aren't bad and it's still family owned. Get there early on the weekends.

Only one I know of is out on SR 130, in between Oxford and Hamilton. I've never been. but I'm pretty sure that one is still around.

Star-lite was great when we lived in Bethel. Had pretty recent movies too.

This one is about 15 minutes from my house.

You should do a google search. There are a few still around in Northeast Ohio. I would think you might be able to find a few in SW Ohio too.

Still one in Somerset KY near Lake Cumberland with screens front and back. They have pretty good crowds during the summer, double features most nights

I wonder how far that is from me...what else is in the Somerset area? We both have this Saturday off, it'd be nice to go out for the weekend and do something fun.

I know of three one at Sidney, one at Kenton, and another on US127 north of North Star.
The Sox traded Bullfrog the only player they've got for Shottenhoffen. Four-eyes Shottenhoffen a utility infielder. They've got a whole team of utility infielders.

I was just at that one about two (?) summers ago and it was really fun. It's not overly huge but it's got a great atmosphere and it's not very expensive either. I'm pretty sure we got a double feature the last time I was there (I think we saw Over the Hedge and Posidon that night) and it was $5-6 per person.

There's also one in a little town in south-central Kentucky called Summersville. It's about 30 minutes south of Elizabethtown on US 61 for those of you familiar with that area.

If you're in Dayton, sava, Somerset is a straight shot down I-75, it's around a four-hour drive.

We went to the one in (or near) Hamilton a couple years ago. Pretty nice. We go to one not too ar from Terre Haute a few times in the summer. It's am memory I wanted to give to my kids.
I've been to dinner at Jimmy Buffet's house, and I've eaten it at a homeless shelter. And there's great joy and harrowing terror to be found in both places.

There used to be a Drive-In somewhere near Wilmington, OH. I remember seeing "Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey" there as a kid.

Drive-Ins are awesome. They make me want to own an old-school convertible.
