Patterson can definatley play defense. He has great range.
Amezaga fouled out to Bako in front of the Reds dugout, Hermida struck out, and Ramirez flied out to Patterson in deep right center on the warning track. I'll give Patterson credit; he made a nice running catch.
Heading to the Reds half of the 3rd with the Reds down 2-0 and Dunn leading off. Dunn promptly grounds out to first.

Definitely cut him. Freel makes that play EASY. Junior and Bruce, too.

Just yell a few standard things at Dusty, so he knows it's him you're heckling. 'I've seen better lineups at the local sherriff's office!' ; 'Hey Dusty, does Corey Patterson have incriminating photos of you? He doesn't belong in the lineup!'; 'You double-switch like a girl!'; You couldn't hit-and-run your way out of a wet paper bag!'
Then when it gets real quiet, sometime late in the game...Yell this out loud and clear: 'I bet Hank Aaron would be a better manager too!'
That ought to get them laughing.
Good heckling is a lost art form...it can sometimes help keep things loose if it's clean and humorous.

Bako grounds out weakly to second for the second out, but Harang gets the offense rolling with a line shot into left for a single.
I'm telling you, get Harang and Volquez in the lineup on off days. They're liable to hit more than Patterson.

I agree - although Freel would take a wrong turn and make it look more exciting.
