Patterson hits a floater to left for a single. That on-base percentage is up to .257, oh my!

Keppinger grounds into a 6-4 fielder's choice to end the inning.

Marlins still up 2-0 heading to the 4th.

Up until last week, I had never heard Brantley on the radio. Being back in town for a couple of weeks, I turned it on in one of the away games, and I was astonished at how bad he was trying to do play by play. I've always recognized that it's not easy and that I don't think I'd do a good job. But listening to Brantley and I think my 5 year old son could do better. It's the worst I've ever heard in my life. He's not good on TV, but that's more because he says stupid things. On the radio is pure incompetence. He has no idea what he's doing.

Marlins starting pitcher Badenhop has a taxing pitch count of 36 pitches through three full innings. The Reds are doing an excellent job so far tonight taking pitches, working the count, and getting balls to drive.

Cantu pops out to short, then Uggla hits a bomb down the line in left field.

    It's 3-0 Marlins.

Harang is just hanging pitches tonight, missing spots badly.

Any chance he's trying to pitch his way out of town?

It's like home runs are a big bowl full of Snickers. Aaron can't resist.

Harang is the best 1-5 (1-6?) pitcher in baseball.

My word. I am as optimistic as they come. But man, this team is slowly breaking my spirit.
