I'd be able to live with this line up, but I'd prefer to see Dunn and Phillips flipped.

Why? Phillips mashes lefties, Dunn not so much.

Hairston infront of Dunn. That Dusty's a lineup genius I tell you.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Just glossing over Hendrickson's stats.... he's been the talk of the town in Florida for his "breakout" after having Lasik eye surgery.

Unfortunately for him, his peripheral stats, are basically identical (if anything on the crappier side) to his career norms. Lasik may have helped his vision, but not surprisingly, that wasn't his problem (pitching wise) in the first place. He just isn't a very talented pitcher, and I can't think of a better night for the "regression to the mean" to come than tonight.

What does that mean? Expect a complete game shut out today

Volquez getting squeezed already. Awesome. Is it just me or is the Umpiring been poor this year?
Benzinger backing and calling! And the 1990 world championship series belongs to the Cincinnati Reds!

Hermida walks. Of course the 1-2 pitch was strike 3 but not called.

Tight strikezone tonight. That 1-2 was strike three.

I can't blame anyone for not going to games after the Reds start this year but it's so depressing to see such small crowds. Of course, it probably makes the Marlins feel right at home...

I'm not sure how much this has an impact on other people but I was planning on going to one of these 4 games but with gas at 4 dollars a gallon its tough for me to justify going to a game in the middle of the week. Its a 2 hour, one way trip for me.

Oh that certainly plays a role I'm sure. Unless you live somewhere that provides alternate options of transportation to Cincinnati or the ball park, it's getting to be an expensive trip to watch a basement dwelling team..
