Seriously, with Aaron and EV starting these are 2 games the Reds are supposed to win...have to win. Now they need to find a way to win tomorrow. Hopefully Bronson is on and the offense keeps scoring.

I think they were unfeated in games they led after 6 at this point last year, big improvement

The Padres beat the Cubs 4-3.

Troy Glaus hit a 3-run HR in the 6th to give the Cards a 3-2 lead but the Pirates scored two off Lohse in the 7th and lead the Cards 4-3 after seven innings.

After a 2-1 win in 11 innings over the Yankees tonight, the Tampa Bay Rays have won six straight games and are 23-16. That team is for real folks. They most likely won't beat out the Red Sox for the division but I think they can win 87-90 games and possibly compete for a wild card spot. I'm glad to see them finally having something to cheer about.

But only 16,558 in attendance and how many of them were Yankees fans?

A good win for the Reds tonight, but we will miss Keppinger's bat in our lineup.

I just watched the game's highlights on Reds.com. What an exciting play on Freel's infield single; especially the final replay which shows Freel racing down the line with the pitcher racing to get to the bag ahead of him. It's what makes baseball so fun.
