Volquez is just filthy. If he's got it between the ears and stays healthy, he's going to be spectacular.

Do MLB players not realize how silly they look diving for balls they can get standing up?

Every time I see Tim Lincecum's name on the TV my temperature rises just a little at the fact that he's not a Red. Had he been drafted, then the Reds' rotation would be nasty, or they wouldn't have had to trade Hamilton and the offense would be so much better. And I can say this because i couldn't believe it when it happened, not just in hindsight.

    Unky Carl!
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

How about a future rotation of:

    Harang
    Volquez
    Lincecum
    Cueto
    Bailey

    Pretty, Pretty good.

Amen brother. I called for Lincecum to be drafted in the live draft thread that year. The Stubbs pick never made much sense.

Keep Hairston in the lineup until he stops hitting.

Ya and so did 95% of Redszone. That's what hurts most I think... it was such an obvious call, and not a stretch at all.
