I don't think there's an Italian section but if there ever is one, I want season tickets there, LOL

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

Sounds like you could be El Presidente of the Joey Votto Italian Fan Club. It'd be cool to see some Italian flags out there in left-center behind the "379" sign.

I probably could be! I've been extremely impressed by this guy since I first saw him last year and he's been even better this year. I love how he plays, I love how he randomly shows his power, and he's just a really good guy. We saw him at Redsfest doing an interview on WLW and I was impressed with how down to earth he was the entire time. I totally volunteer to be the president of the Joey Votto fan club! You do realize he's from Canada though, right?! LOL

Nothing wrong with Canada in my book! I go there for vacations one or two times a year, LOL

The thing I love about Votto is he always has that grin on his face, you can tell he loves to play the game.

I love Votto, but think he should prepare to play Left Field.

I see Encarnacion at 1B before the season ends, Votto in LF, Bruce either in CF or RF, and who at 3B? I was going to put Kepp there until tonight. Kepp's injury just put a wrench into what I think was going to happen.

Votto has put on a hitting display so far that has been nothing short of brilliant.

If a Canadian ballplayer could ever hit, he's the guy. Well, there's Jason Bay... but Votto can flat out crush the baseball.

I was in Ottawa the day Italy won soccer's World Cup in the eighties. You would not believe how many Italian flags I saw.

What, did I ruin this thread with the hearts?

Votto has impressed me both on the field and at the plate. He's made some great defensive plays and has done a great job at the plate. The People's Champ is living up to his name IMO!

LOL No, I'm at work and can't post much or else I would have said, 'Sure! You can be VP!' much earlier today!

Votto has been extremely impressive this year. I wish he could have hit that HR on Monday night though when I was at the game! :

Anyone seen Blood in Blood out? Someone needs to make a bunch of "Votto's Locos" shirts.

Never seen it, but if somebody makes them, I'll glady purchase one!
