I agree, but I think Brantley is the perfect color guy. Very good at analyzing pitchers and hitters. Insight that I don't hear Welsh provide.

I don't think I've heard Brantley on TV.

Cowboy can say some dumb stuff every now and then, but its a pleasant experience overall.

I don't think it's heresy at all. I agree totally. I don't mind Welsh but Grande is just too much with all his sugar sweet crap.

And Brantley keeps his play by play out of his color.

The crowd gives Janish a nice hand for his debut; classy move by the fans that risked the rain to be there tonight.

Reminds me of opening day last year when Hamilton came to the plate for his first ML plate appearance -- the crowd gave him a standing O as he was announced. I admit, I teared up a bit.

I'd have looked pretty awesome if it had gone another 10 ft. Raisor would have had to give me one of his Nobel prizes.

One of the most annoying things about George Grande is he just doesn't ever shut up. There's never a break in the broadcast where even the listener can take a deep breath. Welsh squeezes a few words in, then it's Grande going off on another 10 simultaneous tangents.

2 singles and a double to start the inning. Time to get someone warmed up.

Do you have the EI package? He's doing this entire homestand. As I said, he's very good on TV.

Bronson may be having flashbacks of last year when the bully blew a lot of his games.
