It's not Dusty's fault that Lincoln is on the roster.

Hatteberg and a bunch of catchers are what's left on the bench.

Freel in to play right and Jared Burton in to pitch.

You think he should be able to hold a 6 run lead, though. I didn't see anybody in here call for Lincoln to be taken out after the 8th. The guys in the bulpen can't come in cold either, they need time to warm up. Then you sure as heck don't expect your closer to give up 5 runs no matter how many days in a row he's pitched.

It's hard to choose correctly when you have so many ineffective pitchers in the pen.
Amen my friend. We're all geniuses when we manage the game from miles away.

And had Baker chosen Weathers to put in with the bases loaded--and had Stormy blown the lead--Dusty Baker would never, ever, ever have lived that down. His quotes in the paper would have been all over people's signatures, the "Shoot Dusty" signs would have graced every avatar. It would never have ended. Ever.

The man pushed the right buttons. The pitchers suck.

Cantu grounds out off Burton's glove to Phillips who throws him out.

There's a 6 minute CBC TV news show on their website in their archives regarding Toronto landing the SF Giants.

It's been on pause. I was hoping to watch it tonight.

One could argue he doesn't have any right buttons to pick.
