Nothing better than a young team winning with enthusiasm. Well, there are somethings better, but not that many.

Brantley just said he got a bloody nose out that!
Hugs, smiling, and interactive Twitter accounts, don't mean winning baseball. Until this community understands that we are cursed to relive the madness.

I rarely make it to game threads anymore, but wanted to make sure everyone was still breathing after that 9th inning. Sure enough, I open the thread and Janish wins it.
". . . acquiring J. Blanton from Oakland for, apparently, Bailey/Cueto, Votto and a lesser prospect. I do it in a second . . . The Reds' equation this year is simple: Make Matt Belisle your #3 starter . . . trade for Blanton, win 85 or more, be in the mix all summer." - Paul Daugherty, Feb. 8, 2008

Ryan Freel has a terrible high kick. And speaking of Freel and high kicks, why is Freel trying to high kick both Janish and Bako there?

Note to Janish. Remember what happened to the last two Reds SS who broke their knees.

Man they really needed that and what a great way to start a career for Paul Janish!

The new GT Reds are 3-0 with a few heart attacks tossed in.

I think it was Freel's knee to the face at the end that bloodied his nose.
