Roenicke gets a groundout, strikeout, walk, and another strikeout to end the game. Chattanooga wins 5-1.

Roenicke is the type of arm the Reds need in the bullpen.

    T. Gutierrez went 2 for 4 today raising his average to .362 and OBP to .480

He should probably be promoted to AAA.

I agree. Bring up both Gutierrez and Jukich.

I would've put Gutierrez in AAA to start the season and not have signed Barker. However, I'd leave Jukich in AA, despite his age, because he has so much time remaining before the Reds need to add him to the 40-man roster.

Even if Jukich is ready for AAA right now?

Well, that depends. If the Reds' AAA roster is already full of pitchers who are ready for AAA, then I'd put Jukich on the waiting list and wait for something to happen to the soon-to-be minor league free agents. I don't think the difference in hitting between AA and AAA is so big that it would hurt a player to stay a couple months longer than necessary at the lower level.
