Mesoraco just homered, he's 1-for-2 with his first homerun of the year.

Jukich gets a base hit and scores on a Cumberland home run!! Lookouts have two more hits with two on base.

    Call him up now!
Benzinger backing and calling! And the 1990 world championship series belongs to the Cincinnati Reds!

You know that had to feel sweet for him.......
The lowest acceptable payroll amount for ownership to show they are not greedy pigs is 15 million more than they are currently paying. No matter what that currently is.

Cumberland is really developing into a fine prospect...he just may be the Reds centerfield and leadoff hitter of the future.

Jukich looks to be developing into a fine starter. His 2008 numbers before tonight: 3-2, 2.34 ERA, 50 IP, 42 hits,15 runs, 13 ER, 1 hr, 20 BB, 32 SO, a .217 BAA, and a 1.20 WHIP. His fine start tonight will only improve those numbers. It is time to think about calling him up to Louisville; Shearn or Pettyjohn are not prospects and can be demoted to Chattanooga.
