    Reds @ Dodgers--5/19/08

    Freed 3b
    Patterson cf
    Griffey rf
    Phillips 2b
    Dunn lf
    Votto 1b
    Hairston ss
    Bako c
    Arroyo p

Kind of dissapointed not to see Janish in there. Get the winning streak to 7.

Reds baseball and Vin Scully for me. Sounds like the begining of a good night.

Just when you thought the Reds defense couldn't get any worse, it does.

It could be worse. He could be hitting leadoff.

4 pitch walk to Freel and Penny is not near the strike zone.

Freel over EE -- interesting choice. With this group, I'd have gone:

    Freel
    Votto
    Dunn
    Griffey
    Phillips
    Hairston
    Patterson
    Bako
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

Freel walks and nothing Penney threw hit 90 or was close to the zone. I hope he's off

Corey Patterson the cure for any ailing arm.
Hugs, smiling, and interactive Twitter accounts, don't mean winning baseball. Until this community understands that we are cursed to relive the madness.

Edwin Encarnacion is getting a day off. He's 9-for-53 over his last 14 games with only four RBI.

"I think he needs a day," Dusty Baker said. "I told him last night and he didn't fight it, so you know he needs it."
A day off will help Edwin.

Nice hit and run. Runners on the corners.
